  18. I have used both Grapevine and Amirc, and I actually think I prefer Grapvine.

  22. I agree that Amirc is very nice, it looks good, it has a lot of good features
  23. which grapevine does not have.

  25. But there are two points which are enough for me to continue using
  26. grapevine...

  28. a) if you open any pull down menu, or alter any setting, the text out put from
  29. the IRC session slows down, then floods you when you have finished what ever
  30. you are doing.

  32. b) You can not resize the window to a degree where you can see two IRC
  33. sessions on the screen at once.
  34. I am often joined to two channels, and I like to see what is happening in both
  35. of them at the same time.  Having the windows over lapping and swapping
  36. between them is not really a good thing for me.

  38. if Amirc could fit two windows on the same screen and allow me to see and type
  39. to both, then I would love it, but unfortuantly it doesn't.
